Bond Market Hits 52 Week Low

Bond Market Hits 52 Week Low

Rates slightly improved this week due to lackluster signs of growth in the economy.  Mortgage backed securities hit a 52 week low on Tuesday of this week, thus showing the market is facing reality and not basing movement on unlikely probabilities.  The same common threads continue to slow economic growth; poor job and wage growth, uncertainty in foreign markets, and slow moving confidence among consumers throughout the nation.  There was a small correction in the bond market on Friday which took back some of the gains experienced this week, but it is not expected to last and next week will provide further confirmation of the rally taking place.  All positive news for a homebuyer looking to purchase in the Denver market.
